OK it is with a heavy heart I am parting with this but it is just too small and I would much rather somebody appreciate it and ride it rather than me sit and look at it and reminisce over how cool it was BITD.
It is pretty much original spec other than the following items:
Rockshox Quadra 10 suspension forks - these do move but could do with some new elastomers. My mate had the P2s off it years ago and the stem, I think I have the headset somewhere still.
Control Tech ahead stem - I took the stickers off it to make it less attractive to would be thieves, it stilll has the USA flag on the underside though!
WTB Greaseguard headset
XT M747 SPDs - these have seen better days.
I actually thought my sister had taken this to uni with her and it had been nicked while she was there, but when my Mum moved house a couple of weeks ago it was an extremely pleasant surprise to find it in her loft.
The frame itself has a few scrapes and scratches from BITD, which i think is called 'patina' in sales speak. I know I wasn't as good at looking after my bikes as I am now but I blame my sister and my Mum!
The seat is battered but original!
Most of the rubber components had perished so I have put some period correct Kona tyres on it, some Yeti Hardcore grips and some NOS Ritchey Logic brake pads.
You can see in the pics the old brake pads!
This is a lovely bike and it rides great, I would like it to go to a good home hence on here first.
If no interest I will put on fleabay.
I am pitching it at £120 paypal gift or cash on collection.
I work in Milton Keynes and am in London once a fortnight so could arrange some kind of delivery if required.
Register interest on thread then PM please.
Cheers
Dave
