1995 KHS Montana Comp

Bought this on a whim a week or so ago as my 'long term' Marin project has become 'really long term :roll:
I built it up, with all the bits i'd stockpiled for the Marin, to use at this years Real Ale Wobble.
Nearly done, just waiting on a canti hanger for the front(thanks Tad ) and a wedge nut for the stem.
I like it a lot, although I obviously haven't ridden it yet, i'm hoping it will ride nicely too
Oh ignore the pedals, I can't find my spanner to remove them :?

The bike looks great but my ( I think) 1996 Montana Comp looks different,anyone know why?

It seems to have a flat top tube whereas the 1995 pictured here seems to have a slightly sloping tube

Im keeping the bike after finally have a decent ride on it..Its amazing! Needs a slightly shorter stem and decent pedals( oh and Im losing the red ano bit by bit!)

tis a smaller frame for the purple one, which may account for it, i had the exact same bike as yours though, and it did not have the sloping top tube either

Glad to see the stem put to a good use, looks good on there ( if you still need a wedge I have one here that can be modified ).

I liked this frame when I saw it for sale now it is a bike I love it
