Retro Guru
Hey all,

I'm cutting one of my 95 XXTeam frames loose. It's the first one I picked up, and haven't touched. It could use a respray, and I can supply the decals if needed for this. I'm asking $100.00 or best offer for the frame, it has no cracks or dents, just some normal surface wear and tear as shown in the pictures:

The top tube has a decent sized horizontal scratch.
The chain stays have a few battlescars, the worst being the non-drive side at the dropout.

The images show it all. PM me any questions or offers, please.

No, this frame wasn't made by Yeti.

In terms of production bikes, only the first years aluminum bikes and the later high end (Ultimate, Easton, A2FX) bikes were made by 3rd party firms such as Yeti and Control Tech. Pretty much all of the production steel and aluminum bikes were welded in Taiwan and assembled in the USA. In terms of the custom or Team bikes, these were produced by Yeti, Control Tech and 3D Cycles. They are most definitely rare.

This, is a Kinesis 7005 series XXTeam frame. It has only surface and cosmetic wear and tear, and would be absolutely perfect with a respray.

This still for sale?
Will defo take it if it is, and if postage to belgium isn't too much! :D
Would like the new decals too.
Greetings,
Bram

The frame is still available, yes.

I haven't got decals ready for it, and don't have the time right now to create a set, but perhaps ol' Gil is still doing this?

Best,
Mark

You know, the site itself is the easy part. What rots is that while collecging info on the company, brand and bikes, I kept no notes; all the info went directly up on the site. So, I'm exhausted thinking about all the info that I have to find again. Simple stuff, like which riders were on the 93, 94, 95 and 96 teams. I had old catalog photos of the 94 bikes and I'm not sure I'll find those again..

That said, cooler weather is upon us here in Canada and with the increased couch time, I should have a website back up within the next month or so..

Anyone with any info, please send it along, no matter how trivial, I can use any info whatsoever! :)

Mark

I have some of the '94 catalogue on my computer, If you give me your email-adress by pm I can send them over. I also have a lot of random pictures I found on the internet if you would like those too :D .
