1994 Specialized SWorks with 1995 Rockshox FSX forks - £750
For sale is my used, but still lovely 1994 Specialized SWorks. Fully kitted out with original SWorks goodies across the package. If the bike does not sell as a complete bike I will separate for parts. First priority goes to anyone buying the complete bike. Here’s the specification:
SWorks Stumpjumper (Steel frame in 19” / medium size)
SWorks Ti bottom bracket (installed NOS last year, super smooth bearings)
SWorks Ti stem (1”)
SWorks rims Z21 Pro with original SWorks decals still on, XT hubs, double butted spokes & alloy nipples
SWorks alloy seat post
Judy FSX forks, with lightweight 1” alloy steerer. I’m an ex trained Rockshox technician from 90s. These forks come fully serviced, with alloy damping cartridge that is not leaking. Has red medium coil springs & the anodised stanchions are free of marks or any wear. The brake brace has been swapped out for Judy one and painted previously in matching blue.
Chris King headset (1”, super smooth bearings)
Flight titanium saddle
Shimano XT groupset throughout, in excellent working order. With older XT thumbies using the extra hidden click on 8spd setup. The XT cassette is running with a new ultra lightweight KMC chain. No slip or skipping under load.
New Jagwire cables set throughout in matching grey.
Vredestein Slizer (ultralights) 26x1.9 tyres
Eastern Carbon CT2 bars with Onza bar grips
Notes regarding condition – This bike has been fully stripped & rebuilt last year into excellent working order. It has been used 5 times since rebuild on short rides. There are various scuffs, chips & marks from age. Frame is free of cracks & paint is not perfect, tyres are perforated but full tread, cranks light scuffs, all bearings super smooth, wheels are true but rims are worn (slightly concave). I hope the photos represent the condition fairly. I can email high res images upon request. Everything works & functions as it should to use.
