I have one of these, almost the same spec and exactly the same colour don't they look amazing when the sun hits ?. Nearly 25 years old and tighter than a nuns chuff
Great bike !!
The paint job is indeed classy!
Got this bike for 20€ at my local craigslist..
Quite a find imho, and it rides beautifully. Shifts soft and sharply despite being almost 25 yo..
Hi, I bought a 1994 rockhopper comp that was rescued from a landfill in Monterey by the previous owner. Considering everything it has gone through its not in too bad of shape and I have the majority of the original components. Anyway i'm new to rockhoppers and there is a slight indention on the chain stay right after the bb where the support is welded in (see pictures). I was wondering if this is an intentional indentation to make clearance for the chainrings or is it a dent from its previous life? It doesn't seem to be affecting anything when it comes to alignment because it rode and braked perfect when I had it all together and I'm not really worried about the structural integrity because its really minor and is supported by the weld from the support bar. I guess I'm just curious. Thanks!!
