I am starting to setup the new workshop and realizing that I need to downsize my collection before setting it up or there will be no room in there to actually "work" :D

I just sold my 19" Kona Hei Hei titanium frame and will be selling all the parts off it soon as well...

Next on the chopping block is my 1994 Rocky Mountian Blizzard... Specs

FRAME:
- 19.5" frame
- Hand built in Canada by Chris DeKerf (this is what I have learned from my own research... but do your own research if you wish to challenge this)
- Seat clamp included (original)
- Excellent shape
- Ritchey Bottom Bracket Shell
- Headtube was just freshly faced when I had the headset installed
- frame was designed for front RIGID fork and Cantilever Brakes (has rear cable stop)
- Amazing frame!

FRAME ONLY: Price is $320 USD, plus shipping..... (if you do local pickup price is $340 CDN)

All the parts on it are for sale too but they are more modern to I'm not going to post any prices as I don't think there's a point... IF you want any of them just ask...

PARTS You MAY Want:
- Tange Struts threaded fork that fits the frame $150
- 27.0 Thompson black seat post pictured $45
- ASK about anything else you see on the bike

Riders that need a 19.5" frame aren't that common either, I guess.
Are you serious about 27.0mm seatpost diameter? Thought they were all 26.8 except for the 1st Vertex (steel).

Occasionally I feel the urge to add a Blizzard to my small Rocky collection, but I'm not so sure about that white/blue theme. Your build looks nice, though.

On top, shipping to Germany would probably exceed even the unreasonable bounds.

I'll sleep over it.

Cheers
Thomas

I'm 100% certain it's 27.0.

Correct me if I'm wrong but here's what I know from experience:

1988 - 26.8 (but 27.0 often works)
1989 - 26.8 (but 27.0 often works)
1990 - 27.0
1991 - 27.0
1992 - 27.0
1993 - 27.0
1994 - 27.0
1995 - ?
1996 - 26.8 (but 27.0 often works)

Wheels?? :D ..after saying that Shipping is expensive from Canada

The wheels are non-disc ceramics... I would want $220 USD for them with no cassette or tyres.... cassette is an XTR M60... add $70 USD for cassette, and $40 USD for tyres and tubes... sooo.. as pictured I would want $320 USD

wrong. when in doubt, check the catalogues i have linked in my sig. 94/95 clearly states 27.2. in 96 it changed to 26.8.

Not wrong... if you read my message it says "from experience"

This means it's what I know, not what's in the catalogs... the first post size is the size of the stock post that came with the bike and the size in brackets is the size that I have been able to use

I have owned all these blizzard years and each of them were bought (except the 1996 which I bought from you) came pretty much stock with original seat posts in them

You can NOT go by the catalogs for seat post sizes for most rockies... I have had about 50+ rocky mountain frames pass through my hands in the past two years... it's a 50-50 chance that the quoted size is a perfect snug fit

it most definately is wrong. just cuz you can and have fit one size smaller into frames doesn't make it correct. i've made that mistake with both the 94/95 blizzard frames as i originally wasn't aware they made the size change. you may have been made to believe it should be one size smaller due to the fact that someone may have overtightened the clamp with a wrong smaller post in the frame, dirt/crude in the frame, maybe even paint overspray. but to say the catalogues are wrong based on your "experience" is silly. but if you want to go with that theory than it's your prerogative.
