That's the dilemma. Zip ties would be ugly, but seems to be likely. I think there the vintage steel clamp versions available would look more tidy, but I'm having a hard time with the idea of chrome. Mixing metals is a bad design idea, those gold graphics have me pretty handcuffed. It's also why I'd rather a black bar as opposed to raw steel, and a Shimano crank with black arms too. Black and purple is the look

I spent 3 months building a perfect bike rode it three times we picked up a 50 dollar bike gears don't work the best brakes are ok there's rust in spots and I've put over 2000 km on that thing

Threadless rigid fork and v brakes are the plan, so the catalog is pretty much out the window already, but I do appreciate the image. Inspiration shall be taken, I have a Shark Fin, wasn't sure if I wanted it here or my old Hardrock. Decision made based on that picture
