1994 Norco Rampage

Expect a slow burn here, I don't have a solid plan, just using some parts I've been stockpiling, plus a few goodies from other people's stash, and whatever else I can get my hands on. Will not be doing anything to the paint beyond a quick clean and shine. Going to use a threadless Brodie fork and some chromo riser bars, but I'd rather something in black if I can find it IMG_20231020_123424975.jpg IMG_20231020_123528290.jpg IMG_20231020_124322383.jpg
@Ingola has offered up this as well, after he spent so much time shining it up for his own bike! 249308-IMG-20230910-133911855.jpg 249307-IMG-20230910-133920851.jpg
The never installed XT thumbs are a must, not 100% certain about brakes, the frame is set up with stops and a noodle for cantis, but I'd rather use vees, got these nos tektro levers I'm just itching to use IMG_20231020_124226065.jpg

I have the brakes to go with that gearset wheels and crank
We'll get it in the stand eventually. Wanted to see what I could get at Brian's before I started throwing it together. See if I could get him to throw in one of his bottom brackets in there while I was picking.

Bring the frame probably has everything you need

That's going to look great with those strait blade forks!

With the cable stops on the right side of the frame, are you thinking full housing with zip ties for the rear V-brake or one of those clamp on cable stops?

That's the dilemma. Zip ties would be ugly, but seems to be likely. I think there the vintage steel clamp versions available would look more tidy, but I'm having a hard time with the idea of chrome. Mixing metals is a bad design idea, those gold graphics have me pretty handcuffed. It's also why I'd rather a black bar as opposed to raw steel, and a Shimano crank with black arms too. Black and purple is the look
