1994 Kona Lava Dome

You'll see it out on a ride soon too, probably if he doesn't mind it getting muddy again.
The bolt on v-brake things look a bit ugly too.

It's a V-pipe as normal, and a cutdown-upside down v-pipe into the dog collar and a short bit of outercable.
Looks neat and tidy and works.
 
I drilled the cable hole in the dog collar just enough for a cut down v brake noodle to be a snug fit, don't drill right through the collar!

Then a short length of outer brake cable between the 2 noodles makes a nice tidy job. I was lucky in that the 2 noodle pipes lined up perfectly but I'm sure they can be bent if yours don't achieve the correct angle.

Sorry about the pics its dark in the shed and the bike hasn't been properly cleaned since Sundays Binbrook ride.

Yes its finished, well it is when the 2.1 rear tyre arrives to stop that annoying rubbing.

Thats very true, specially since i for one cant seem to stay out of the for sale section on here and the bay lol
