Not sure about this one as I don’t want to sell it but I need the space in the bike shed!
1994 Kona Lava Dome, 19inch, metallic green. It’s a bit of a mix of retro and non retro with an emphasis on it being totally useable. I guess it’s best to list the spec and see if anybody is interested in it whole. I may consider breaking it or keeping it!
Spec
Frame: 1994 Lava Dome, Green, good condition with 1 small ding and surface scratches.
Stem: Velocity
Headset: Kona Impact
Bar: Matt black riser with black grips
Shifter and Brake levers: Shimano 2004 ish bottom end stuff
Brakes: V Brakes
Cable: New cable and housing throughout
Front Mech: Shimano Exage ES 1993
Rear mech: Shimano Acera 8spd
Wheels: Alex (I think) Came off a Specialised.
Crankset: Truvativ 2004ish
Chain: 8 speed Shimano (new)
Bottom Bracket: Shimano (new)
The only issue is with the forks. I have been running P2’s which are not for sale as they are off another bike. The bike can be supplied with period Manitou suspension forks and a brand new boxed elastomer refresh kit but I don’t have the skills or the time to fit them hence me running the P2 forks.
Open to sensible offers. If you are interested I am willing to email pics so just PM me.
