For sale I have this 18” 94 Fire Mountain lovingly put together by a fellow Retrobike Forum member. I grabbed it as an impulse buy in summer ‘22 as it’s a real beauty, but since then it’s been parked in the garage and not seen the light of day for 15 months so it needs to go somewhere to get better use.
Spec is as follows:
18” - Merican respray in metallic blue and not a single mark on it. It’s genuinely stunning.
Mag 21s in great working order and condition - with canti brace
DX hubs on Mavic 231s
LX canti’s and Onza chills pills
DX brifters, XT mechs F&R, Deore chainset, UN71 BB, Tioga surefoot IV pedals
Ritchey stem / Specialized bars
WildGrippers butterscotch
Generic seatpost & saddle
Bad bits:
The WildGrippers are mildly perished and in my opinion for a show bike only - but you need to get close to really notice
RH shifter not shifting - unsure of the issue, I guess possibly repairable for someone with the right knowhow
Looking for £200 collected from Southampton. I’m solid on the price (it’s less than I paid) as I feel the component parts will equate to considerably more than that if split. Buyer to cover PP service fees should they want the cover.
