1994 kona cinder cone seat post size ?

Hi all

I have picked up a grey 1994 kona cinder cone and am looking for the correct seatpost size.

The seatube on this frame is flared out and I can fit a 27.0 but it goes no more than 1 ot 2 cm before it jams.

Any ideas ? I have searched the net and bike pedia but found nothing. All of my other steel konas take a 27.0 but are newer models than this one.

Should be 27 as all 94 kona steel frames of that range take 27mm seatpost...
Any damage on the seatpost tube ?
In my memory 94 cinder must be in orange/red color...

Oops I m confuse fire mountain was red and tange double butted as lavadome...
Cinder cone is more basical steel so maybe 26.4...or something...have to source the right diameter...

They did do the '94 Cinder Cone in a grey finish also, great colour choice in my opinion!
