I have a 19" one of these hanging in the garage, I must get it on the road/trails again. I think it was a 1993 model, same frame but mine came with thumbies and was 7 speed. I think it was the last year Kona specced cantis, next year's models were all 8 speed with v-brakes, massive improvement on the cantis! I was told it was Kona's first Aluminium bike and as they weren't sure about longevity it didn't come with a lifetime guarantee like they're steel frames. Think I have most of the original parts except the XC51s (threaded suspension forks!) but I couldn't manage the 12cm quill stem now anyway, not sure it was a good idea back in the 90s either.
My wife won't let me sell it because I used to ride it over to hers when we first started dating, she says its like in The Third Policeman, it's partly me now so I have to keep it!
