I'm putting my old racebike up for sale.
1994 GT Zaskar. I received this frame from GT after cracking my '91.
Lots of cool vintage parts. This is pretty much the complete bike how I used to run it back in the day.
The disc wheel has had a repeair by my dad along the way (see bolts and safety wiring near the cassette). I don't even know what he did there back then. The wheel ain't bad, but it ain't super good either. The Onza Porcupine on the back is an early one, and it's in very nice, soft, almost NOS condition. Rear wheel contains an Araya RM400 rim and a Hugi hub I believe. It's loud, that's for sure.
Mavic rim up front with Ringle Bubba hub and NOS white Panaracer Dart. This one's hard as a rock though. For display use only.
Further on, Race Face cranks, Answer Atac stem and Taperlite bars, Deore XT front mech and headset, Sach rear mech, early Gripshift, Answer Aggressor grips, Flite saddle (rails are bent, I'll probably swap this for a Turbo), Control Tech seatpost, Onza brakes (rears had a repair), Onza Chill Pills, Dia Compe brake levers, Marzocchi XC forks with downhill crown from back then, Asco BMX outer chainring, Dave Chain Device (got this from Dave Hemming himself at the Worlds in 1993), Ringle bottle cage. Bike comes with period correct early deore XT SPD pedals.
