Slowly updating the build. Not done yet. Meanwhile some teasers.

New RD with a new chrome cable. Sexy, huh?

New cranks, new wheels with NOS X517 rims. New Panaracer tyres.
All cables will eventually be changed to silver.

Hi Konsta,

Cracking build! Interesting to see how different your '94 frame is to mine. My rear hanger is very different and I have an integrated seat post clamp. I'm building my bike up over the next few weeks, haven't settled on forks yet. Any suggestions?

Well, I don't like those original bent steel GT forks. I really like Amps but they are getting rare. There's something nice in the forks of this KeithB's build:

They are Gusset Jury SL's apparently. Don't know if those are too modern for your build though.

This has been my opinion for few years now. I think there are lots of signs already of a massive 90s MTB fashion coming. Don't know if that is such a good thing though. Prices are bound to go up...

Thanks! The frame came without decals. So far we have been happy enough without them.

First we take a ride to the woods.

There the owner picks chanterelles and wild strawberries.

Then we head back home. Slowly.
