Finally took this out for its first ride this afternoon but due to having man flu it was only a local road ride.

The bike fits and feels just perfect for me and I can't wait to get out on a proper ride on it.

I have just stripped down the same bike, although mine has been abused compared to that beauty . i remember now why i bought her for my 21st birthday back in 94 paid £479 back then at it had been reduced. Just about to send mine for respray and then rebuild her.

thanks chris, i was wondering if you had to replace any of the chainrings and if so where did you get them from? i need a middle 36t ring 110, but can only find one for £39 and i could get a brand new deore hollowtech chainset for £47
