cant wait to see full bike pics, have you built the wheels up?

no… though i've had it sat un-ridden on a set of XTR m750 with grey x517 rims stabled in storage for ages. if i could find a NOS or mint set of x517, i think i would use those instead of the 230TiB. :facepalm:

i'm at a cottage for a week this w/e so my plan is to take my parts/gear and build up the rear wheel during that time. then take both front and rear somewhere to have them tightened and trued.

i've been wanting dark rims to build up the wheelset with. so scored these 4x NOS 32h rims. so do i go with the 230TiB as i originally started to do, or go with m231 CD instead ??? :?

damn pathetic… still haven't finished this but has been rideable for quite some time. but i do have a small update to share.

finally installed the Real Design brake holders/pads. should have been years ago, but one of the grub screws was stuck tight. finally threw in the towel and called in reinforcements. shipped it off to @B3 and thanks to him, he dislodge it for me and all is good now.

now if i could only just get the wheelset built up, i could close this thread for good. maybe this will be the year.

but even though not finished, i'll at least treat everyone to a full bike profile shot which ppl have been waiting for.
