1993 Raleigh Dyna-Tech Diablo RS

Love the site, fantastic job.

I thought you would be interested in seeing my daily commute, I brought this bike in 1993 after some f*!&er stole my Raleigh Summit.

It has been an amazing bike and is still good for my 18 mile a day commute, after seeing some of the bikes on this site I feel the urge to keep it as original as possible to the early 90s and stop riding it so much!

Current Spec:
Dyna-Tech frame
Rock Shox Mag 30s (needs new crown, crack)
Dirt Research handle bars
Onza bar ends
Dyna-Tech Seat post
Flight Titanium saddle
LX crank '92
XT front Mech '94
XT rear mech '94 (needs pivot bolt hence not on bike)
Gripshift SRT 500 Rs
Dia Comp 986
LX front hub with original Mavic 232 SUP rim
Deore rear hub and Mavic rim (still have original LX rear hub)

Love to know your thoughts

Clifford

Love the bike clifford. Keep it original as poss I say but DON'T cut down on the riding it, just look after it and have fun. It would be a shame not to enjoy it

Love those old Dyna-Tech colour schemes and the Diablo is one of the best IMHO.

Enjoy the ride these Dyna-Techs are massively under rated ;)

I feel i might have to get at least one of my wheels built up in a snowflake design :D
Few of them on here... Love them!

Hi Clifford,

Love your Dyna!Llike the guys have already said... keep it original.

Dyna's are a fantastic ride.

Thanks a for sharing this one with us.

Me, Sinnett and Carlton are real fans of 'the best of Raleigh'.

Cheers,

Chaser.

Love the old Dyna's, especially the colour schemes.

Get the rear mech sorted ASAP, the old SIS scared me until I read your post

Love the paint jobs and the rear end is funky to- nice to see a bike that is loved and used in equel measure also cool to see someone else who rides with the saddle way back- I have a long body/arm thang going on almost simian

The one i had was i think from 95,i didnt get such a nice paint job though, the rear triangle had a nice metallic blue but bare ti main tubes
those fancy paint jobs were a raleigh signature.
Did any other company's do similar paint jobs on their frames?
