I’ve used Chris a number of times and always impressed with what I get back…
I send him rough diamonds and he send me back polished ones, fully restored or modified to their former glory

Ooooh Mother!

Lovely work so far Spud - glad I could inspire with my little build :)

Cheers buddy, I followed your build closely and you made me feel guilty for the years of neglect I’d given mine.

I’ll get some picture up shortly…

Wow that looks great... Pewter ano is the new black!

Judge for yourself... its certainly got something about it :D

so far, its everything I'd hoped for :D

still need to sort out a 122mm bottom bracket as the s/h stand in Shimano one really does look pants
in comparison to the Royce one that came out.

I had the inner ring anodised in an attempt to extenuated the impact of the anodised spider (if that makes sense :? )

The Stem and Fork Crown finished in Pewter really goes with the M900 which I guess is why Chris (Rampage) bought it in in the first place

For Anno bling I think this is probably the most subtle colour I've seen, I'll let the pictures do the talking !

(should have used a camera rather than a phone but hey, I've not finished yet)#

Re:

I'll come clean about the rear wheel....

Having never seen period Ringle hubs in this colour I bought a NOS pair (rather cheaply) off ebay.com however !!! the seller didn't state and I didn't think to ask....

but the rear one was for a bloody Road bike

never dawned upon me until after building it I went to mount it and found it was approx 10mm too narrow..

I guess you live and learn, thank god there's guys on here who can sort problems

here's the offending article and the build saving collaboration between Elite504 and Rampage...
guys I owe you both big time for saving my ass on this one ;)

(rear wheel just needs running up my LBS for tensioning/truing up)

That's really taking shape now mate :D

Are you going to re-decal the ringle parts? will be a little awkward doing the hubs now they have been built? EDIT: just looked again, you have done

I really like the work Chris is doing, I keep meaning to get some bits off to him, but keep changing my mind on what I want
