1993 Mountain Goat Whiskeytown Racer with M2 in Bamboo

Hi,

It was time to move up to the modern era of bikes and I have replaced my beloved WTR so it's time to find her a good home with someone who will appreciate what the bike is all about. I am the original owner and have been riding it for the last 22 years. I bought the frame and fork in 1993 from Jeff Lindsay in Chico, California with the incredible Russ Pickett bamboo paint.

The components are mostly original from when I built it with the exception of the drive train, brakes, and bar. The Deore DX components were off my 1991 Diamond Back. The cyclocross brakes are new from last year and the bar is about 7 years old. There is the usual wear and tear with chains falling off, chain suck, and other nicks but there are no dents and after 22 years the paint is in great shape on the majority of the bike.

19" frame: #1993W073

Components:
-Manitou II elastomer suspension fork with the original service kit and alternate elastomers.
-Brodie fork brace
-Shimano Deore DX rear derailleur
-Suntour front derailleur
-new Shimano CX70 cyclocross brakes with DX levers
-Shimano XT thumb shifters
-Syncros Ti bottom bracket
-Syncros seatpost
-Answer ATAC stem
-Mavic headset
-Selle Italia Flite Transalp titanium saddle. I also have a standard Flite Ti saddle too.
-Onza bar ends
-Shimano 737 clipless pedals

The frame/fork with bottom bracket and headset is 500 British Pounds or $775 USD. Make me an offer!

The frame and fork are sold!

I will also sell the other components with the exception of the wheels and bar, make me an offer.

I live in Alberta, Canada and will ship it.

Cheers,

Mark
