Cheers for that.

Still on the lookout for 'factory fresh' images. ;)

Re:

It's your lucky day as i have a pdf file for the '93 Team Issue which tells you exactly where to place the decals and the correct ral code for the colour... PM me an email address and i'll fire it over to you. ;)

Re: Marin Team Issue '93 - update pg2

Some progress is happening with the build.

First off; new decals have arrived courtesy of Gil. Fantastic service and I can see why so highly recommended.

Secondly; M900 XTR cranks fitted along with M900 XTR rear mech

Third; some 3DV brakes. These were pretty cheap off the Bay, thought I'd give them a go, but will probably replace with some, yes you guessed it, M900 XTR's along the way. Rear is all up and working, but front I need to sort a rocker for the RC35's (along with decals).

Fourth; some Foam grips have arrived, but waiting to sort cockpit before fitting.

Still to sort are:
M900 XTR Sti's = deal done and a pair are on their way :)
Black Flite (picking one up this week fingers crossed)
Purple QR's; got an idea for these. Will keep updated.
Seatpost; still trying to work this one out.

Hope you like
Chris

Re: Marin Team Issue '93 - nearly there

Well, the build has started to come along.

Progress so far:

M900 XTR STI's fitted.
Gears set up.
Temporary brakes set up (rocker from Pace, M900's on order).
Black Flite sorted; lucky EBay win !!
Fork decals applied (again from Pace).
Ritchey WCS Foam grips fitted.
Purple skewers fitted (on the hunt for a rear purple x-lite ;) )

Been out for a quick spin round the block, but will give her a proper outing this coming weekend if the rain stays away.

Still to sort, obviously seatpost and probably a more period correct stem.
Pedals too.

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

cheers
Chris

Re:

Looking good, new seatpost stem and pedals would finish it off nicely IMO

Is the frame a 15" measured c-t? It looks bigger

Re:

Cool, certainly going in the right direction now. I couldn't nail down what was bugging me about that stem, now i know it's the stack height.

If you are staying threadless then a subtle ritchey would look ok, make up the stack height with spacers.

Like this.....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ritchey-Mount ... 1c49ae2776

cheap and easy to get hold of.

Re: Marin Team Issue '93 - nearly there...

Having a couple of days off work and seeing as the sun was shining thought it'd be nice to get out for a quick spin to collect some holly from the local hedgerows to hang in the hall.

A few little tweaks needed for the gears and still to sort out the aforementioned parts.

Loving the way it rides so far.
