These are the EFC-DH model, and are fairly rare.
I raced on a set BITD, after upgrading from the "standard" EFC with it's normal QR axle.
There are much, much stiffer than any other fork of that era, courtesy of that through-axle.
They're also far more reliable than the original EFC, as they use the later model SX legs and damping gubbins. I used to have to rebuild my earlier models after every second run - with oil squishing out from every conceivable hole...
I've got a set on my San Andreas, and they're perfect for that era - they actually even work as suspension - not radically different from a short-travel Fox Vanilla.
