Withdrawn 1993 Kona Explosif 19 Inch Frame and Forks

Well I'm feeling a bit funny this Sunday and have decided to part with my other 93 Kona Explosif

I've had this for quite a while and initially i was like get in finally got one (this is the one with the little ring ding in the toptube) then the full bike turned up in original condition and i bought that. So the frame and forks have really just been put to one side and sought of forgot about. Every now and again i came up with ideas on how to build it then changed my mind.
So basically i was going round and round in circles with it and getting nowhere. One idea was to have the frame resprayed a solid colour like the American versions and keep the rest original paint. Then another was to do the two colour fade and match the forks but then it would just be the same as the other one, round and round i kept going lol so finally i've decided to sell.

As you can tell the frame is resprayed but now has the correct 93 tripple butted Project Two's and Velocity stem and the 165 bars,these are genuine 93 items off one of my other 93 Konas.
Basically when i checked the forks what came with it they were earlier P2's and non tripple butted and the stem seemed to be the wrong year aswell. Also i've added the correct year seatclamp and cable guide and a 92 Impact headset (same headset as a 93 just white logo instead of gold)
So now the lucky new owner has basically a 93 Explosif to build up.

Frame size is 19 inch (sorry Mark ) all threads are good and apart from the tiny ding on the toptube it's all good to go. Seatpost size is 27.0mm

I'll upload some more pics in a minute of the date on the forks etc and a one of look how it could look

I would also consider a swap for a 1990 19 inch Kona Explosif frame with Track Two's

Agh man, so tempting, ive collected all the bits for a later frame to custom paint, all the curve parts, decals nos headset, seat collar etc... so I think I will hold firm, with it being harder and harder to find sensibly priced original bikes thats gonna make a nice easy build for a sensible person.
