Congratulations!

MC1 Sunburst Adepts are really very rare.
A few years ago I was offered one in the original paint (23 inches), and I still regret not buying it.

Have two original Sunburst models in my collection ... Pinnacle 1992 & Attitude 1993.
The photos are from January 2025. I just wanted to give the tires a clean ride ...

I did not know about the Adept! A 29er Klein in the early 90s? Was it meant for like very buff trail riding and gravel or full on XC racer?

And yeah I was a XC racer 30-40 years ago and XC racers were fairly buff trails back then compared to today, though I only raced in the midwest. I owned a Klein Attitude from 1990-2002. Later moved to BC in 1998 and tried using my Klein. Attitude on gnarly BC coast trails did not work so well compared to the emerging trail bikes of the time.

Quite the rare steed I understand. 900 made in 1993 I think. 29” wheels so 700c. (28” was a typo sorry). Lots of clearance for larger profile tyres so potential a cx bike. Looks rad for sure.
