NOW WITHDRAWN AND BROKEN DOWN
Up for sale is this 1993 KHS Montana Pro. I've recently built it up to a nice spec and it's all ready to ride. Back in 93 this was KHS' 2nd highest offering in their line up however, the frame is the same as the top spec Team model. The True Temper OXII tubing is an excellent frameset, light and strong. I've built it up with as a hardtail with a Shocktech fork and after all these years it is still working. Although the bike doesn't have the original XT components it does have a nice set of Deore LX and DX components.
The serial number on this frame does appear to have been ground off. I noticed this some time after buying the frame and contacted the seller who stated he'd owned the bike for a few years and had previously bought it from a charity somewhere. He also said he did notice the damage but thought it was just usual wear. I like to keep a record of my bikes serial numbers so I thought I should make anyone buying this aware before the purchase.
The bike can be collected from Tamworth, Staffs or I can box it up and ship it via Paisley Freight.
£300 £200 plus postage (& any PayPal fees)
