I've finished a new rebuild and thought I would share the latest with riders who will appreciate.
fishlips are rare. this one is beyond ...
this is a 1993 fishlips Oscar titanium. it was built by the original titus frame builders located in tempe Arizona specifically for fishlips cycles from salt lake city Utah.
this is the first titanium bike titus made for fishlips. it is #1 of 1 ever made. it was designed to fit a fishlips team racer to use in the 1993 race season. it is a factory test bike and never made it to production.
its 19" and the new build puts it right at 21lbs.
I accuired the frame 10 years ago. it was completely stripped or any decals. the shadows of the old decals gave it away as to what it was. I searched the roots of the frame and contacted all fishlips connections. they identified it and also sent me new decals. because of what it is ... it was dubbed the "toxic tuna" hence the decals.
