Had this Merckx a long time, originally purchased from @ededwards in a car park. First build was Macic based, as nice as the parts looked tbh it did not get used, thread here.
Last summer decided to rebuild into something which I would ride more regularly which basically meant modern nicities of sti, look keo, my choice of saddle and position to match my other bikes, sadly can’t ride with it setup like Sean Yates.
Build is what I had around in the main, fitted Dura Ace 7700 from another bike.
Quite pleased with the build and ride. Setup correctly and rides well. Build a long way off period correct but in my mind it is sympathetic.
