Yeh I got it for £1000. Think it was marked at 1750 on ebay . A lot to pay but it's unused has original mint smoke and dart tyres and unmarked group set.. Just need to find a nice 1 inch headset for it . At the moment replacing the bolts with 1993 titanium ones I found ..

worth that for the groupset alone I’d say.

That was a very good buy.

Seemed very ambitious at the original asking price but I'd say at £1k, that was a good purchase.

I wonder how many of them they made? Given that the RRP would have been quite steep, I suspect they either made them to order or, it was sold as a frame set only.

I can't imagine that there's much to do to it is there?

Not.much to do. I swapped the.purple ringle to stix with black ones. Changed the kalloy uno 15cm stem that was purple. Has a onza ufo mk1 headset which apparently is.light and reliable but.may replace with a shimano 600 or xtr 1 inch if I can find one. Has a royce bb . Came with an x lite seatpost . Put.on an wr compositi carbon post at the moment the first one they produced but not sure what seat post.to use or.buy another ..Just swapping.oit.bolts.for ti.ones

Frame.number 13 on bottom.bracket so not.many.made I doubt . The previous owner had it custom measured and bought as a bike but to his spec . I havnt even.cleaned it it's as was stored in his heated garage

Any suggestions on the seat post what should I get for the bike. This wr compositi one is the model they made from Italy from.1993 to 1994 . Not sure though .

Total score. very jealous. I’d say take your time with stem and seat post: everything above the frame line should be subtle and not distracting. Campag chorus titanium seatposts in MTB length come up now and then and are classy without letting on. You could get a custom stem made (some excellent frame builders on this site).
