Sure Mike. It's U1068A.

Thanks! That's interesting. Can you tell me what info you have that says this is a 92?

I ask, because Ultimate serial numbers are surprisingly reliable for dating, and I know U1419 is September 1991. That suggests yours shouldbe about 1990 with a second gen headbadge

The bike is repainted and the headbadge is from Velocals. Non-BMX seatclamp and sleeved seatpost (maybe repaired) pointed me to 1992.
Unfortunately, Yeti Frame Numbers do not really say something - it was common to recycle bb shells from warranty frames. And - to be honest - I asked Martin K as well.

Ahh. Ok. I missed that detail, and yeah, it's def a factory repair. The bikes that had the seat collars as an OG spec weren't sleeved and were 93->. FWIW, I'd consider this a 1990. Beautiful repaint, and an amazing build.

It's not as wild west as legend has it. Yes, early, early bikes (FROs) were kind of a free for all when they were using Redline BB's and tubes. And yeah you'll catch a bike here and there where the serial makes no sense whatever. But for the most part, when you find production bikes from the years when they really got going (88->), the serials add up. Especially Ultimate serials. Although I've never seen one with a letter in it, so I'm guessing they addded that when they "fixed" your frame.

Thanks for kind words concerning the frame and my build, Mike! And for the useful infos as well!

Really nice choice of parts on a classy frame - good work :)
