1992 Trek 950 Singletrack Frameset & Parts !SOLD

This is a nice ridden example of a 1992 Trek 950. The frame is made of True temper OX and pretty bombproof in my experience. Its a very dark metallic green with plenty of marks and scratches but no major dings or cracks. It measures approx 15.5" from the centre of the top tube to the centre of the bottom bracket with a top tube of 21" centre to centre. Included is everything in the pics ie a lovely Tange Big Fork, LX front mech and chainset, bottom bracket(smooth and no play), a pretty short stem, True temper bars, and a Tioga Avenger headset that at least needs a re-grease. I think £60 + P&P is a fair price.
Payment can be made via ppal gift(or add fees etc) or BACS is fine. It's is located at my house in Southwell, Notts or I am very happy to post at buyers cost, probably around a tenner I guess?

1992 is the year model, I have the 970 version and it's a great frame, lugged and very strong.
Perfect for a touring bike project.

Trek frame

I'd take this if it was bigger. Have you thought about trying the Cycling UK Forum? As you say it would build into a nice tourer and there are plenty of cycle tourists on that forum.
