I've seen this frame in the flesh as I know mark. I also have a 98' clockwork and the frames are very different. Marks is definately earlier as it has lug style tube section by the seat post. Does this help?
I personally think that it has had some new decals at some point.

As Jim said, I'm quite certain It's an early 90's. Had an email chat with Gil M today. He hasn't seen this type of font before.

Think it's an august 1992 frame from the serial number. The decals are quite rare as I believe they only ran on the early 98 model year bikes.

Have now ordered some '93 style decals in orange from Gil.
Bought some more parts this weekend as well. Will start posting some pics soon!
