i admire Pierre's purple Hei Hei build, as well as all his other builds. always tastefully done and never over the top. But purple for myself, it's just not for me. :?mojo ti":6wcdorc6 said:For purple, look 24pouces bikes.
Pierre is crazy with purple and same as RockiMtn, I dislike the purple.
1st gen stem is on my 91 Altitude, as well as the matching period seatpost with the "T" cross beam. for my Titanium being one year later, i felt it appropriate to move to the next gen stem, as the 92 catalogue has that version on the Altitude. plus this stem i felt was more in line with the Ti seatpost and handlebar i settled on. XT cranks would not be appropriate given the XTR kit on the bike, and I just have no attraction to Ritchey Logic cranks whatsover. Syncros was the only proper choice given the rest of the Syncros kit on the bike.mauricer":6wcdorc6 said:I would have used a first generation stem as well as a simple XT or Ritchey cranks. Had the Revos myself and i think they are way more bling bling that quality. Just my personal thought, but apart from that the bike is 10 and a real stunner.
yes, i sprinkled a lot of misc ti bolts here and there. i've lost track of where they all are on the bike. i'll have to go through my thread and refresh my own memory!mojo ti":6wcdorc6 said:Brakes and pedals upgrade with Titanium bolts and axles, perfect !!!
I'm totally fan.
