Love the Mavic kit 😍

I'd be temped to use the cranks unless others point out performance/reliability concerns, they are a beautiful (IMHO) and rarely seen crankset, not to mention match up nicely.

I've yet to try the oven trick myself as I read the RB thread on how to do it only recently. I liked the suggestion that good stuff the tire/rubber needs get melted/put back in through the heating process.

Another method I tried is using armourall with a nylon bristle brush, toweling off and then lot's of elbow grease with a dry nylon bristle brush to clean off anything remaining. Potentially removing some of that goodness that would be better baked back in? Also not sure how permanent a fix it is. I'll be trying the oven method if the white stuff reappears
