I have realised with all of the projects I have on the go at the moment that one of them has to go. As this was always a bit big for me I'm going to put it up for grabs for someone a little less vertically challenged. So..

For sale is this 1992 Merlin Mountain titanium frame (serial # 7721) with Grease Guard bottom bracket. Frame is in really nice condition, the previous owner applied new top tube and down tube period correct decals.

The frame has a 1 inch head tube and has cantilever brake mounts. There is one small ding on the top tube, its really small measuring 3mm x 3mm (the photo really exaggerates it and makes it look worse than in real life).

Seat tube: 17" (432mm) center to center, 18 1/8" (461mm) center to top.
Top tube: 22 3/8" (568mm) center to center.
Head Tube: 4 3/16" (107mm).
*Measurements are approximate*
The bottom bracket is super smooth.

I had planned to build this with the pictured Pace RC35 fork (Merlin's + Pace = just right IMO) which has a really cool rasta theme. I gave the fork a full refurb including new elastomers and it is now in great mechanical condition. The steerer is 1" threaded and measures 172mm (6 3/4") in length.

Asking $1050 plus shipping for frame and fork. International shipping is fine (shipping from Canada) and shipping will be charged at cost. If you are interested contact me with your location and I'll figure out a cost.

I'd like to sell the frame and fork together, if someone does want to take both I'll throw in the rasta Salsa (original no-logo) QR skewers.

Paypal gift for payment or buyer pays fees.

Re: 1991 Merlin Titanium Frame & Pace RC35

Bump for Owen.....good peeps, and a gorgeous frame...stopped me in my tracks when he showed me his 'toy' room.

Re:

Bump..

I'm honestly surprised at the lack of interest in this. Am I off with the price? I priced it at bit of loss to me in the hope it would sell quite quick.

To be clear $1050CAD which is what I listed it at would equal 568GBP, so less than 570quid for this beautiful frame and fork!

I understand the international shipping might put people off but I'm willing to work something out to see it go to a good home! Just hit me up with any (serious) offers!

Re:

It's a great frame and fork. I'd love to add it to my collection of bikes. What is the best you can do including postage to the UK?

Re: 1991 Merlin Titanium Frame & Pace RC35 - Offers?

nice frame - but methinks the frame is 1992 or later. I can't really make out the serial number from the picture but the first digit looks like a 7... making it a 1992/93.

Also the s-stays are a dead giveaway that it isn't a 1991.

Re:

Thanks guys!

Serial #: 7721 So that puts it as a 1992 model according to Mombat (thread title updated). It was sold to me as a 91 and I never thought to question it.

Re: 1992 Merlin Titanium Frame & Pace RC35 - Offers?

Would you sell the fork & skewers separately..?
