Having spent some time riding modern FS bikes recently, I've come to the realisation that if I ride the Marin the way I now want to ride, I'll end up trashing her and that's just a waste of a nice bike, considering how original she is. Much as I'd love to keep her, right now I can only afford to have one bike, and I've just bought a used Giant Trance X so lil' ol' Marin needs to find a new home where she will be loved.

You'll notice a few differences in the spec list compared to the pic - the spec list is correct. After building her up, I changed the saddle, seatpost, brake levers, and shifters, but nothing else. The bike will receive a full stripdown, clean, degrease/regrease and new cable inners before she goes, so will just need a saddle and grips - I'm leaving these off as they're a very personal preference so you can fit your own. The SPDs are staying with me, so she'll have her original XT platforms with clips.
The paintwork and decals on the frame show signs of her usage, but there's no rust or dents.
I won't split and I'd rather she didn't go to anyone who will as she's almost 100% original. If whoever buys her gets to the point of wanting to sell/split I'd like first dibs on a buyback. I know she's not a Yo or anything, but I get silly-sentimental over some bikes! She's located in GU24 postcode, just outside Woking, Surrey.
Thanks.
