Just bought this 92 Explosiv Pro. Needs a lot of work but a good base I reckon.

Looks like you have the Kona brake booster and a Joe’s Cage too. The latter just needs a puncture kit with a Kona sticker!
I’ve a real soft spot for this year and model as I almost bought one and actually did quite a long test ride at the time.

The paint is pretty chipped in places and it just needs a good service really. The tyres need changing. I suppose it's not too bad overall. It rides nice so may just
do the essentials. I have plenty of other bikes in worse state to get on with.

Nice score! Is the paint just black or black with metal flake? I feel that’s probably a regular Explosif in the black. The Pro came stock with Suntour kit

That looks great. I have a '92 Pro frame and forks with the metal flake finish. Yours looks tidier! post some more pics. Suntour kit?

Hi, thanks for looking and the comments. Yes its a metal flakey paint and has full Suntour kit on. One of the rubbers has come off the right hand thumb shifter but I have a spare.
