1992 Klein w/ very interesting attachment

Obviously for someone who lives near the beach and needs something to cart their surfboard to and fro. I'd LOVE to actually see them riding the bike w/ surfboard and then handle the random crosswind. Might I also say they could have gone a bit further and painted the surfboard rack in the same linear fade.

Its a 700c touring bike that formed the basis of Cazza's CX bike

I've wanted one for ages, but alas they are very rare esp over here

You're absolutely right. I changed the post accordingly.

Kai (ArchAngel) had an Adept I think all the way over in Finland. I'm pretty sure it's the only other Klein frame that shared the same 2" downtube with the Adroit.

If you had 4 of those you could use them as supports for a gazebo at a bbq.

I've always wanted an Adept since I saw the candy blue one in a Klein catalogue.

Here's the first version w/o the extra pole (presumably added for extra stability. Without the extra pole, what's to prevent the whole lot from pivoting on the seatpost mount? :shock:

Could it be for some sort of sunshade? you'd think something as big as a surfboard would make the bike too unstable :?

OK admit it, who else was thinking "chav-tastic" rear wing? :shock:

With all the weight up that high, regardless of cross winds it's going to be very unstable, looks kinda cool though.
