I haven’t got a build thread on this one, it’s more just a description of the bike. But I might as well put it in BOTM so here it is in all its glory if anyone is interested.
A 1992 Klein Adroit in a one off sort of Blue Linear fade. This was a factory repaint in 1997.
This is a true adroit with the 2” down tube, reinforcement bumps at the bottle bosses, and carbon/boron reinforced fork and stays.
Full XTR M900 kit, for the simple reason I love it and want to actually ride it. I’ve made this bike completely rideable and I do. Did 75km one day this summer on a HONC on it.
But even with full XTR some of the details are special. Full set of three XTR quick releases, the rims are of course Mavic Ceramic, black Smoke/Dart tyres, titanium King Cage.
It’s hard with my limited photography skills to capture how vibrant this colour is. It’s simply stunning.
