Re:

Tres bien! Interesting geometry. How would you describe the ride of this to other bikes of the same era?

Lovely indeed Martin. I’m guessing by the nature of the design that most of these were fairly large in size?

Re:

Rare and exotic bike.
Strange geometry with very low front and high BB. How does it ride ?
Elastomer or hydraulic fork ?

I've only got a couple dozen miles on this one and those were plagued by some technical problems.

That being said the bike takes a bit of getting used to. Cranks are 210mm and so the cadence is much slower, but you have much more torque. On the flip side descending is a bit more challenging as your legs are bit further out so they tend to get tired.

The rear end is meant to be compliant and in general the bike feels fairly predictable and if you drop the seat is actually fun going down on most terrain. I really need the RQR dropper on this bike due to its size.

Fork is an elastomer unit and is fine, but has lots of fore/aft flex so not super confidence inspiring.

Keep the detailed and honest reviews of these rare classics coming. Another fan of the BB grease port
