1992 GT Xizang - rebuilt 26/04/12 pg3

Got this in the summer from kase1983. I've been collecting parts for a while, no real overall plan, just what comes along that I like (and can afford! )

Here is a few pics so far.

SRP ti cassette (139g )

Proper u-brake + gorilla booster

Other parts acquired so far include xtr 952 front and rear mechs, xlite stem/ti bars/ti skewers/brake levers, middleburn rs7, lots of ti bolts, use ti post, oh and the matching front wheel . Paul thumbies otw

Probably going to come in at ~21lbs.

Last piece of the puzzle I am looking for is some forks, still undecided on which I want to go for. Suggestions appreciated!

Oh, forgot to add I will most likely go rigid on this.

And yea it does seem a nice brake, and rather light too

That's nice - must get on with finishing mine won't be as tricked up as yours though - love the rear brake.

What wheels are they?

As for forks - I think if you're going rigid the oringial GT 3D or 2x4's look best on GTs - you can pick them up on evil bay from time to time.

Oh dear, the more I look at this the more I think my Zaskar needs one of these to keep it company in the shed.

You missed some 3Ds a few weeks back on ebay, I thought about buying them but went for some cheap carbon fibre to be going on with.
