1992 GT Timberline

Dickie Mac

Retro Newbie
Hi,

This is Wavejumper's GT Timberline that I bought off him for £50 a couple of months ago. Unfortunately we're moving to a new flat with less storage space, so it has to go already. I haven't had time to do anything to the bike in the time I've had it, so it's in exactly the same condition as it was when I bought it, apart from that I've replaced the original tyres with newer slicks, because the sidewall on the original rear tire had gone.

The original advert is here:
http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... 9#p2033949Wavejumper's pics give a better idea of the conditoin of the bike than mine could, as my camera is rubbish. However I'll post a pic of it with the slicks on when I get home tonight if anyone is interested.

I'm asking for £50, as that is what I paid for it a couple of months ago. I think it's a good price given the pretty good overall condition. The main issues are the wobbly BB, torn saddle, and odd rusty bolts here and there.

Cash only collection only from Cardiff please.

Thanks,

Dickie

Yes its still for sale but I just put it on ebay a few hours ago for 40 quid starting price. If you want it for 50 I could cancel the auction. I should say that I've put brand new CST 2.1" soft ground tires on it instead of the slicks - would that make any diference to you wanting the bike?

See the ebay auction for pics:

I could post it if you can make sure the courier arrives before 8:45am or after 6pm, otherwise I'll be out at work.

I haven't got any cardboard bike boxes at the minute so I'll have to ask in the bike shop tomorrow if I get a chance.

Cheers,

Dickie
