9008 = it was made August 1990 for the next year's model. The A1 is the code for the Team Avalanche, which was top of the steel range (ignoring the USA-made Psyclone). The 1222 is the unique serial.

Nah, that's a very expensive project!
I build a restomod with discbrake conversion and actually 10/11 speed
-all terra customs in Utrecht brazed on discbrake mounts and tabs
Some will say it's a shame . ..
But i already bought the next frameset, 92" Timberline 20" in daktari white
