There's a lot of comments about prices on here, which is fine, but ultimately it comes down to whether you think it is worth it or not. Personally, I would pay that for it. For me it is more about trying to fit a 9 hour road trip into my schedule.

Go for it, you can't take it with you, and if it brings you joy, it's priceless.

I am pretty sure the Avalanche will bring joy, just as my Bravado does. Every time I go out on my Bravado, my heart sings and my mouth goes

I wondered if you might.. .I chatted to him earlier too...but can't get up there for a couple of weeks . Definitely get it if you can, I haven't seen another in 16" for a long time! Good luck

I know, my Bravado frame + forks + stem cost me more than that, but like you said, if it is something you really want it's worth the price.
I don't regret spending a penny on my Bravado.
