It's going to be quite an expensive build when the airbrush equipment and garage overhaul are taken into account!

Hope it is worth it in the end. Certainly no lack of effort.

Hi! Yes there has been progress.... Of sorts?

I know I said at the beginning this would take me ages, well one thing led to another. I was going to get the frame sprayed or powder coated but this would of been far too easy and as always I like to make life complicated for myself decicided that if I'm gonna build this bike I may as we'll try and do the lot!

Invested in a nice Bambi silent compressor

...and an Iwatta Neo air brush gun, chosen some paint and Gil is currently designing/supplying the decals.

Preparation is is key so I stripped the garage, cleaned and painted everything, this was finished the weekend so I'm still moving back in and setting up. Managed to get a couple of hours on on the Yates prepping for paint.

Also a change of wheels to go with the new colour scheme I have in mind, thanks to Yetidh9 these Nos straight laced Rigida beauties made there way over from Denmark...

How are you doing with the airbrush?

I use a small spray gun and wouldn't want to go any smaller, I used an airbrush to do the
lettering and transfers.

Quick teaser for you all, the air brush gun is giving some great results.

Just finished the 2nd clear coat on the salsa stem.

Hi Raidan, this is the first time I've painted, did a lot of research before I bought the kit and paint, always wanted to give it a go, just wish I had more time!
