not sure if this is of any use but bottom pull has the high cable clamp like first pic and top pull has the lower cable clamp, second pic

Brakes won't fit as the standard kit is magura (I assume you have those??) and there are no guides for cantis. Like wise the STi's, it also had thumbies as standard.

Hello Carl, so I have to admit, I’m at the very bottom of a steep learning curve when it comes to MTB’s :facepalm:

Only an ugly way: Drill the bearing out/through multiple times so that you can take the axis out, than take a saw and split the rings.
