After a visit to the what is it worth thread and asking around etc. Seems 350 is fair.

Re: 1992 Breezer Lightning Pro £350 - or interesting swap?

If I had bought it from the guy who sold it on Gumtree, it would be a great markup. I got it a couple of stages down the line.

And it would only be a great markup if someone bought it

Re:

Couple of stages down the line in one week? Wish I could sell stuff that quick! ;)

Lovely bike would love to add it to my collection, but out of my budget I'm afraid.......wish I had seen it on gumtree though! :D

Well, I had to chase it. Just for a nostalgic ride. But actually, I can't really afford it either!

Re: 1992 Breezer Lightning Pro £350 - or interesting swap?

Hi, is there any damage to the frame? are the seatpost and bb free moving? Just trying to work out why it was sold 3 times in less than a week and now your selling it!

And £50 to £350 is a huge mark up :D

Re: 1992 Breezer Lightning Pro £350 - or interesting swap?

All those things are just fine. I'm happy for inspection. Sold three times, but over more than 1 week. It was on Gumtree weeks ago. Sold so many times as we are all trying to make a fast buck, is my best guess.

Perhaps we should focus on whether or not 350 is a fair price. After all, if It was a barn find, would I be expected to sell it for pennies?

Re:

Steady on with the pricing comments please, you should all know the rules by now.
Regardless who bought it, when and for what price, it now his bike to do with as he wishes.
