1991 Yeti Ultimate build thread

Very nice bike ! I saw that the stem was "only" 130 mm. It seems longer, and it turns out that it looks very good. And the colors are lovely and go well together ! I'm not a sucker, color-speaking, for this kind of tires usually, but again, it's nice on this very bike (I saw a pic where there are more classic tires and it's not so nice).

The repop smokes look ok but perform so much better, especially in cooler damp conditions.
I agree.
When I raced in the 80’s and early 90’s, I tried every tire in every size. Smokes and Smoke Lites were hands down the very best over wet roots and slippery rocks common on the various courses of the NORBA and Grundig circuits. Less aggressive treads worked on the sandy or smoother courses but I stuck with Smokes/Lites (never liked the Dart).
