1991 Wicked Fat Chance

Great looking bike, im about to start a 88 wicked build , so its always great to see other similar bikes.

A very tough act to follow !

The fork is so nice and new compared to everything else. Looks like a good rider. (you know, once cables, etc are on ;) )

The tires are new too!!
(likewise the cables/housing/headset/tubes/and new grips will be fitted)

....but yeah, I get your point! :)

Here are some pics. There are some NOS parts (neon yellow Specialized straps, tires) some new parts (the fork, WTB replica hanger, Ourys, cables/housing, and tubes) and then a good amount of well-worn survivors (and some pretty clean ones!). I'm quite pleased with how it came out, and have certainly enjoyed cruising around town today.

Another Fat creation!

I've had this mech since new on my 1991 Yo Eddy. Carmichael ti pulleys, and lots of wear. The springs are still nice and tight(ish).

Love how Fat's silver metallic paint cleans up real nice
Good looking functional Fat.

btw, that U-Lock would fall off the mere glance of one of our bike thieves.
Thinking of changing my location to: Bike Theft Capital of The World

Thanks guys.

I hear that on the lock-- even in New Haven my policy is to only lock up a bike where I can see it. Haven't lost one yet...knock on wood.
