Nice bike and mostly original. The seller has got the tyres mixed up front to back and it's missing the original thumbshifters and saddle.

I haven't seen one of these on the forum and would be interested in buying if it wasn't for the ludicrously optimistic asking price.
These were £599.99 when they were new.

Oooh harsh!
There was a brief period when they were arguably leaders in the UK MTB market.
Sadly most people only remember the steep nosedive the brand took in the late nineties.

The tyres look fine to me, Tioga Farmer John’s Nephew up front and a Farmer John’s Cousin at the rear both mounted in the correct direction. What makes you think they’re wrong, dude?? Both tyres were front or rear specific although usually fitted as a matching pair.

Just going on catalogue spec and the fact that the Farmer John is a lousy front tyre.

Edit: I now see it's a FJN on the front. The FJC is still the better front tyre. I'd switch them around.
