1991 Rocky Mountain Blizzard

Re:

Very nice crankset! I really like the I-beam! I have a couple myself. I have one the exact same, one with black arm and black spider, and one with silver arm and red spider. If anyone wanted the red spider i would swap it for a black one =)

I had some XT 730 cranks set aside for this bike, then lucked out and found these!
The rings are late 90s, and the I-Beams are 96 model year I think (since they have the 74/58 bcd). They are a bit more modern than the bike, but I think they'll look cool with the blue RM decals. :D

good choice. the 1994 Blizzard came with that colour IB. not sure whey you say it's 96 model and it can't be 74/58 if those are the rings that fit which are 110/74 as indicated on them. ;)

I got the info from the 96 Raceface catalog uploaded by you. ;)
It says "new for '96" you can get 110 with 74/58 so you can run a standard or compact small ring. If you check out my photo it has 10 threaded holes for the small ring, cool huh?

huh… learnt something new. never even noticed the extra set of holes! ;)

Well, the bike is coming along. I've got a few XT bits ready to put on. Since all my other Blizzards have thumb shifters I figured I'd go with some with some Rapidfire shifters on this one. I would have preferred the 2-finger brake levers instead of the 4-finger, but these ones should do the trick.

and I found one of the things I've been looking for...the elusive Powerlite. :) Now I just need a Syncros stem to go with it!

It's actually a 1998. Nice bike though. I like the blue CK headset / blue wheels.
